]]>“Weekday crystals are always so fun to wear and this stunner is no exception. But let’s keep it easy and light. This pink satin 3-piece “suit” with contrast cami is a comfortable look for the office that can easily transition, with the help of Cleo, to catch-up drinks with a colleague after hours.”
“Let Cleo help make a lasting impression for an approachable, first-date look. Dangling above a sexy knit tank makes for a cozier “t-shirt and jeans” casual vibe, but pulled together with the sparkle. Drape an (now ex)boyfriend blazer over the shoulders and you’re easily out the door in under five minutes.”
“A gossipy girls’ brunch is always an excuse to pull out a fun, accessorized look but since it’s the weekend, I prefer to keep the clothes quite effortless. A sweater dress does the day-off trick and lets Cleo really shine, causing an “Um, tell me about this necklace” moment among your crew.”

Pooja: “The most treasured memory from my wedding was our vow exchange. My husband and I had a beautiful and fun-filled, big, fat Indian wedding. In all the excitement, I loved having a moment with my husband exchanging our vows and proclaiming our love for one another.”

Lauren: My favorite part of our wedding was actually having it. Due to a few false starts in the journey of combating COVID, we had four different wedding dates. We finally had the wedding on April 1, 2022 - yes, purposely on April Fool's day! Another highlight: as a surprise to my wife, the last song of the night was one of her favorites; when the beat dropped at the end, confetti cannons were released.

Marjorie: My most treasured memory from our wedding was the exchanging of vows with my husband, Nikhil. The world around us disappeared for a brief moment while we expressed our love and commitment to each other. A close second would definitely have to be watching my six-year-old nephew cutting loose on the dance floor all night!

They say time flies and surely it does. The last social event we attended in Newport was the 80's party for NewportFILM's spring fundraiser event that we sponsored two years ago. When NewportFILM asked if we wanted to sponsor their event this spring, we gladly said yes! The theme of this year's event was "Party in the Garden". The party took place Friday, April 1st at Stoneacre Garden, which was beautifully transformed with florals galore for the evening.
The Loren Hope team made a custom installation for the event, complete with dozens of handmade jeweled butterflies. The guests in attendance brought their best with festive hats and colorful frocks. Pictured below are some of our favorite looks from the event.

]]>Nostalgia is central to everything we do here at Loren Hope, so it should come as no surprise that inspiration would be sourced from the Jello recipes scattered amongst the pages of our vintage magazines from the 50's. The glossy, colorful and fabulously eccentric possibilities are endless when experimenting with gelatin. One only needs time and a little patience to ensure the best giggly results.
Our jello journey began by procuring vintage molds, a sweet heart shape, a classic large round container, as well as a simple small vintage bowl. The next step was to purchase the needed ingredients and then select what bijoux oddities were going within each jelly. The object pallet consisted of warm colored crystals, iridescent jewels, pretty pearls, and fresh babies breath flowers. Like clockwork, we poured a fresh layer and added jewels every 20 minutes or so.
The finished product was nothing short of visually pleasing. Each jelly had a unique personality, liken to that of three sisters. The pearl filled jelly was simply fantastical, a vision of ultra feminine wonder. A light catching masterpiece, the heart jelly had a sparkling depth of color to it like stained glass. Lastly, our babies breath and iridescent miniature ended up being so much more than a supporting jello act.
While we don't recommend actually eating jello creations such as these, we do highly recommend indulging in a whimsical winter project like this. The creative nature of jello making mixed with the anticipation for the final product, made for a truly fun artistic experience. The only question is, what will we place in our jello molds next?

The Starlight tiara, a first of its kind for the house, was a labor of bijoux love and is our most favorite creation yet. Such jeweled firsts did not stop there however. Theatrically festive, the Starlight tree topper features the same profusion of handset multicolored stones featured in each namesake item. Afterall, being able to match one's jewelry to their tree topper is the definition of a fashion statement.
The final touch on any proper gift, bow motifs also festoon this holiday series. Our Mirabelle bow ring and brooch are ideal adornments for any festive ensemble. Eye-catching and enchanting, the Consuelo bow brooch offers the right amount of dazzling flair. Upping the jeweled ante, the Debutante bow tree topper brilliantly sparkles, making for a chic yet festive decor moment.
Favored pieces from holidays past were also reimagined for this collection. Elegant in emerald, the Grand Dame earrings and cuff boldly elevate any look. The Presley statement earrings as well as the brooch have been recolored in crystal and turquoise, a superb combination. A slew of new pieces like the Socialite bracelets, Primadonna necklaces, Gloriana earrings, and Consuelo cocktail ring have also arrived to indulge your most glamorous bijoux fantasies.
A new year is on the horizon, embrace it with jewelry that heralds a celebration of style.
Beloved by 19th century aristocrats, and coveted by 21st century collectors, Loren Hope is proud to premier an exclusive curation of rare opaline glass boxes. Made in France and Italy between approximately 1810 and 1920, one could easily imagine courtiers of Emperor Napoleon II and III using these beauties to store away their precious jewels. These sublime hand-blown containers feature unique colors and a level of seamless glass quality, that cannot be found or manufactured today. More significant is the sheer fact that these boxes have never been used before.
These regal glass containers have survived over decades of change, including two world wars, packed away in European warehouses, which is why they are in remarkable condition. Behold, something truly special that has waited generations to rest upon the vanities of the stylish and routinely chic. Mystically opaque, opaline glass was produced in a variety of colors with the earliest examples being turquoise blue (also referred to as "Petroleum blue"), yellow, and pink. The history of opaline is rich like the gilt bronze hardware on each box. One will find not a single seam or maker's mark on any of the glass, leaving only the distinct appearance that defines opaline.
Exploring ways to curate the finest vanity, an altar of daily preparation, has become an ongoing journey for Loren Hope. Cultivating a space where all of your adored beauty accoutrements and jewelry can be honored, is the definition of self care. With so many colorful shapes, opaline is ideal for collecting and pairing together to create intriguing vignettes. These darling containers are heirlooms which will continue to grow in value, yet never fade in elegance. We hope you will delight in the regular satisfaction that these boxes will bring, just as much as we have enjoyed sourcing each one for our dear customers.
Neutral shades of white guided a sartorially traditional occasion. The bride donned a regal off-the-shoulder, full A-line, faille gown with a chapel train, designed by Sareh Nouri. A timeless look was precisely what Joanna sought after, and the delicate Farrow earrings in crystal certainly achieved such. “When you get engaged, the decisions you have to make are endless.” Joanna says. “One choice I knew immediately, was that I would wear Loren Hope for my big day.”
The lovely ladies of the bridal party also joined in on the choice to wear Loren Hope. From house classics like Abba and Cupid, to statement makers like our Bouquet and Begonia earrings, everyone had their own sparkling bijoux moment. Formal yet fun, each woman in Joanna’s entourage was able to express their own personal style through Loren Hope jewelry paired with their individual colorful dresses.
A cherished moment for Joanna during the festive day, was the elegant high tea reception organized by both the mother of the bride, and the mother of the groom. “That time spent before the wedding with my sister, our parents, and close friends, enjoying macaroons and praying together is something I will always remember,” Joanna recalls.
One element of the wedding that allowed Joanna to truly remines was the jewelry she selected. “My love for fashion and jewelry came from my grandmother,” Joanna says. “When I look at Loren’s pieces, they remind me a lot of my grandmother’s fabulous collection, timelessly classic and stunning.” The same excitement Joanna felt as a child, playing in her grandmothers closet, was felt on her special day wearing Loren Hope. “Loren perfectly recreates a vintage feel but with a modern touch,” Joanna explains. “It was an easy decision to outfit both my bridesmaids and myself in her stunning jewelry!”
Brad and Joanna Knott shared a divine wedding day, one filled with many gleeful and loving moments. Though their original plans fell through, a close circle of family and friends we able to gather together to celebrate their love and future. We are honored to be a part of their day.

Thanks to the continued support from our beloved family of collectors, the Loren Hope team has been able to get more creative than ever, and for that we are so incredibly grateful. We believe prosperity should be honored by giving back, so that others may be given the opportunity to grow as well. We are proud to announce our philanthropic partnership with Project Open Door.
Housed within the Rhode Island School of Design, Project Open Door (POD) is a free college-access program for artistic teens that offers art workshops, after school programs, portfolio classes, and summer studios. The mission of POD is to increase access to high-quality arts learning and design careers to Rhode Island's urban core city public high school students. POD also strives to provide a community education platform for RISD students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Last year alone, POD supported approximately 200 high school students from Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, and Woonsocket. Their Saturday Portfolio Program holds a 96% retention rate, and since 2015, 100% of seniors attending POD have graduated from high school. 86% of students are young people of color.
For the 2020 - 2021 academic year, Loren Hope has committed to providing new laptop computers for graduates of POD who are heading into their first semester of art school this Fall. In addition, Loren Hope will work with POD leadership to develop programs for mentoring and offer real world experiences for the students of POD.
Our DNA here at Loren Hope revolves around the State of Rhode Island, so we could not be more thrilled to have the opportunity to give back directly to our community in a way that is truly meaningful to us. When we saw pictures of the young art students (who have just started their freshman year at RISD) holding their new laptops, our hearts were bursting with joy and gratitude.
“I grew up in a lower middle class home in North Carolina. When I was very young, my mother recognized my innate creativity, and although we didn’t have much, from youth through art school at ECU, she made sure I had the art supplies and the emotional support I needed to keep me pursuing my art. She has always been a cheerleader for my creative endeavors and I know that I owe so much of where I am today as a creative because of this. It is my belief that every child should have the means to get into the arts no matter where they come from, and that it is through the arts that we ultimately enhance the state of living in our society.” -Loren Barham, Founder & Creative Director
Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting this dream, and for making this possible.
]]>The intrigue of the ancient world is one of the numerous muses for Loren Hope. Craftsmanship and creativity have guided humankind for thousands of years, with mother nature and her creations being the eternal inspiration. This season's collection is a polite nod to the Egyptian imagination, a spirit that endlessly captivates us all.
Beginning this capsule, we have the Papyrus studs, a small yet delightful duo. Named after an ancient queen, the Nefertari necklace, cuff, and earrings feature scarab motifs alongside handset vintage stones. The Tia clip-ons seamlessly climb the ear, and offer an ombre of pave stones set in natural leaf motifs. Truly mystical, our beloved Callie butterfly earrings have been beautifully recolored in white opal and rosaline as well.
Whether on the wings of a butterfly or those of a scarab beetle, this latest bijou series is sure to whisk you right into Autumn in sheer style… Enjoy.
Our Loren Hope butterflies brighten our lives, even on the gloomiest winter days. They offer a visual reminder of my grandmother, whose strength continues to inspire me. Sharing these brilliant creatures with my children helps me to keep their great-grandmother's memory alive. The glory is that their beauty will not fade with the years. From their clear perches, they witness our lives and add a touch of sparkle, when we need it most.
]]>Roxy: I know I'm not alone when I share that Austen and I are more often than not donning athleisure or in her case, scantily-clad these days. Her favorite outfit has quickly turned into a single garment ensemble of just pants or just a shirt. Times are different these days to say the least and I raise a glass to all you working mamas out there--I see you and I feel you.
It's safe to say that this Easter is going to be like everything else right now, different from years prior. Easter brunch will be limited to a small gathering of our immediate family, Easter egg hunts organized specifically for just sweet Austen girl, but that doesn't stop us from counting our many blessings and continuing to celebrate in our own way.
As the presenting sponsor for this fundraising event, it was our unique duty to provide an engaging spectacle for all attendees to experience. Given that the theme was the 1980’s, there were numerous initial ideas tossed around. Upon touring the venue in advance however, Loren had the avant garde idea of manifesting a teenage girl's bedroom from the 1980’s within our corner of the space. From that moment forward, Loren and the team spent the next couple of weeks curating the perfect items to make this idea a reality.
A fictional character was invented to better understand what this room needed to look and feel like. This was going to be Tiffany Hope’s bedroom, and you were her best friend crashing for the night to partake in an ultra-girly, super-fun 1980’s slumber party. So who exactly was Tiffany Hope? Miss Tiffany Hope was to be a girl of her time, interested in pop culture, fashion, and boys. Our fictional character was a classic trope meant to evoke pure nostalgia and lighthearted fun.
The overall aesthetic of the Tiffany Hope bedroom ended up being very 1980’s and very girly, exactly what we wanted. When instalation day came, we were pleasantly surprised at just how good the finished product was. The bedroom was incredible, details like the nostalgic wall of 80’s icons, to the pillow packed floral bed setup, to the vanity area where a pink heart emblazoned with the Loren Hope logo was cast on the wall, to the vintage prom dress and period telephone. The layers of detail were countless, and each item gave a visceral feeling of sweet nostalgia.
Over the course of the evening, the Loren Hope bedroom was enjoyed by each and every guest that lined up to snap a photo on Tiffany’s bouncy bed. Laughter filled our corner of the venue all night long, and photos of the space dominated instagram feeds. The overall fundraiser appeared to be an exuberant success, and Loren Hope was pleased to be involved. We design our Spring collection during the cold winter months in New England. It's no surprise we spend our time dreaming of warmer days, the return of the foliage and longer days soaking up being outdoors in nature.
Our latest collection is inspired by a 1960's garden party. Shades of soothing aqua, fresh peridot and soft jonquil round out a dreamy color palette that feels playful yet romantic. Motives of leaves, vines and flower sprigs are the overall theme, with our oversized jeweled Yoko Dragonfly Brooch reigning as the star of the collection.
Like most of our pieces, we utilized many vintage glass stones in this collection, our favorites being the beautiful aqua navettes found in the Pauline Earrings and the Farrow Earrings.
With wedding season approaching we can't help but imagine all of the beautiful blue captivating us all on a bride walking down the isle...

]]>Our latest Loren Hope girl crush is the ever-so-stylish Ashley Brooke. We first met Ashley during the 73 Spring Street Pop-Up we did alongside Society Social and Inslee a few years ago in NYC. We hit it off and have been friends ever since. We are constantly inspired by Ashley's feminine, classic take on personal style, and love following her social media for her inspirational quotes and tips on daily life. Read on to get to know Ashley and her husband Ryan.
LH: Describe your style!
AB: Girl next door meets old Hollywood, I think… although I’m forever working on it! ;)
LH: How many years have you been with your husband, Ryan?
AB: We’ve been married 5 ½ years, together 6 ½ :)
LH: How did you two meet?
AB: We actually met at church! And then Ryan’s brother and sister-in-law moved in next door to me and we became friends. Soon after, they were on a mission to set Ryan and I up… and the rest is history!
LH: Does Ryan work with you full time on your blog?
AB: Yes, and no! Ryan and I have been working together on the blog exclusively for the past 4 years. Ryan is also a consultant for influencer and affiliate marketing. Technically, he has two full time jobs, both of which he loves. I’m very lucky to have him so involved on the blog.
LH: You two work so closely together. How do you keep work and life balanced?
AB: Ha! We are still working on that, and probably always will be. Some days we are really good at it and some days we just can’t get it together! Ha! It definitely ebbs and flows. So day-to-day it can be dicey, but one thing we’ve been pretty successful at is keeping bi-weekly date nights on the calendar. That way, no matter how busy we get, there’s always built in time to reconnect. And we do have the most important thing down - we put each other first, always.
LH: What are your favorite colors on one another?
AB: I love when Ryan wears blue and navy… it makes his eyes pop! And Ryan is always a big fan of the classic little black dress.
LH: What’s your favorite way to spend a date night?
AB: A good old fashioned night on the town! We love to get dressed up and go restaurant hopping! Popping into our favorite bar for a cocktail, then head to dinner at a restaurant, and after go out for coffee and dessert at a sweet shop. It’s like a progressive dinner… and honestly it’s really fun!
LH: Do you have a favorite recipe you love cooking together?
AB: We love cooking together and do it most nights as a way to unwind from the day. I’m not sure we have a favorite meal, but I love when Ryan is on grill or smoker duty and I’m in the kitchen whipping up a salad.
LH: Where’s the most romantic place you’ve ever been?
AB: Oh, Paris for sure. But we love a date night in NYC any chance we can get! There's something magical about the city at night.
LH: Say you have 10 minutes to get ready - What are your absolute essentials? (makeup, jewelry, etc)
AB: Oh gosh, okay… fill in my eyebrows, that is a must! Ha! Tinted moisturizer and a bit of blush, a good dusting of dry shampoo, and of course my rings!
LH: Where do you see yourselves in 10 years?
AB: We hope to have a happy home filled with little ones! Growing our businesses, and hopefully maybe a coffee shop/book store/flower shop… we’ve both always wanted one!

]]>Eye catching, statement making, and usually very beautiful, a well designed brooch can serve as your not-so-secret style weapon this Winter. Marvel at some of the many ways we feel a brooch can work effortlessly into your daily ensemble this season.
Go a step further than just adding a brooch to your favorite sweater. Simply fasten a brooch on to your jacket's lapel. This will elevate your daily Winter outerwear into an individualized expression of style.
Some shoes such these bold pink bow flats allow you to up the fashion ante with a brooch! Add one to put your best foot forward, or add your favorite pair to put some swagger in your step. The possibilities are endless with the right pair of shoes.
If you find yourself bored of the basic hair tie, get creative with a large, sparkly brooch. Gracefully fasten one to a low ponytail or a half up / half down situation. You’ll feel fanciful and that much closer to the princess within.
Conclusion:
A lovely brooch can quickly become your best friend if you just get creative. Go beyond the conventional uses of a brooch to achieve looks that are truly memorable and fun! Shop our curated assortment of brooches here

Cider and bourbon, a combination so immaculate you will never want to enjoy the season's quintessential beverage again without it. Embrace the falling leaves and a return to cozy clothes with this Apple Cider Martini, ideal to share with friends and family. The presence of fresh ginger and lemon juice within this recipe deliver a palatable spark of joy, balancing out the contrasting flavors. Add a thinly cut slice of apple to graciously float on the surface and you will find yourself being the hostess with the mostest. This adult concoction is as easy to shake up and share as it is to drink. Happy Fall!

]]>Myself and others often refer to Loren Hope jewelry as "wearable art" - and I consider the design process and the craft process of our pieces as an art form in and of itself. It was time to create the biggest piece of art I'd ever made out of jewels; the ultimate ode to "jewelry as art".
The scene is a prowling leopard, surrounded by blooming magnolia flowers with butterflies fluttering around her. I chose this as the subject matter because I wanted to pay homage to my ultimate inspiration which has always been nature. The symmetrical flowers flanking her and her regal side profile stance contribute to a sense of formality and tradition, while the butterflies create movement and playfulness, keeping the work light-hearted. Both concepts I work to marry into the Loren Hope brand.
Overall the project took around 4 months to complete, with working on it on and off in spurts. Sometimes it would be for hours at a time... other days just a few minutes or so. I was fortunate to have my team there to help with this massive project, and we all contributed to hand-setting every single stone, and placing it in its spot one by one. Once the final stone was placed, we spent 2 days filling the piece with resin to set them in place.
Loren placing the very last stone
The piece is a literal beast - Six feet across and weighing in somewhere around 175-200 lbs (if I could guess). It took five people to hang her on the wall, and we used a specialized hardware we found that holds up to 300 lbs.
After a survey on Instagram a couple of weeks ago, we had some great names submitted. I decided on Lola... The "Lola Necklace" is one of my very favorite pieces we've created. And who doesn't instantly think of the infamous song lyric, "Her name was Lola... she was a showgirl..." - and THAT she certainly is.
I invite you to come visit Lola in person! She sparkles and shines more than a photograph could ever show.
Thank you, to everyone on our team, and for all of our community of Loren Hope collectors for your support in making this project possible.

]]>What do you get when you mix NewportFILM and Loren Hope? A fashion forward evening celebrating the new documentary on one of history's famed designers, Halston. However, this was not any routine NewportFILM screening, this was also the 6th annual picnic contest, a competition locals take very seriously. Set on the lawn of Rough Point, we knew this would be a night to remember.
As an event sponsor, Loren was one of the 6 contest judges, and though we weren't able to be part of the competition, we still wanted to participate in the festivities. The team looked at preparation for this event like a Project Runway competition. The challenge was to decorate a 10x10 tent to be on brand, on theme, and pack a bold picnic punch.
With Halston and Studio 54 on the brain, the team created a fabulous wall of glittering rhinestones for people to take photos in front of and serve as a shimmering backdrop for everything else we would dream up. Execution was somewhat trial and error, but eventually we figured out the best way to “make it work”.
In front of the sparkling chain wall were our infamous plush velvet purple chairs that flanked a mid-century side table topped with a vintage gold pegasus lamp. This eclectic, yet fresh mix of color and decor carried onto our picnic set up.
We used a decorative lilac rug set the stage for an arrangement of six velvet ottomans which circled a sleek high top table. Statement making was the name of the game - so we hung a disco ball. Under it, our table, festooned with an array of vintage flamingo pink Heisey & Co. glassware. Coined by researchers as the “Twist” pattern, this sleek Art Deco glassware translated seamlessly with the various Studio 54 elements within our decor. Jewels were scattered around an artisanal charcuterie board, the star of our picnic.
Pictured: Our Wine Charms in Champagne
Our charcuterie set up included:
Cheeses: English cheddar, Italian Truffle, asiago, Toscano soaked in syrah, French brie
Meat: Italian dry salami, rosemary ham
Accoutrements: olive medley, cornichons, assorted crackers and breadsticks, Marcona almonds
Condiments: pepper jelly, honey pale ale mustard
Fruits: Raspberries, green grapes, black figs, mandarins
Sweets: Dark chocolate almonds
Assembling every detail of this magical evening was a labor of Loren Hope love. Though the decor was festive and the charcuterie to die for, it was engaging with fans of the brand and fellow fashion lovers which proved to be the ultimate joy for every member of the team.
A special thank you to Kimberly Wills for food and table styling.

5. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Well, my four-year old self wanted to be a princess when I grew up. Some things never change (move over Kate and Megan)! Just kidding, just kidding :) In general, I’ve always viewed life like chess not checkers (i.e. I strive to think five moves ahead instead of just one). In fact, most of my close friends and family would say I’ve spent a big chunk of time making master plans for every aspect of my life – work, our home, blog, and beyond.
I’m currently loving (and living) in the now – and trying to focus on small strides instead of some big grandiose plan. On the flip side, I’m truly wired to be a big picture thinker, so this current mindset is completely counterintuitive to my default mindset.
However, I’ve LOVED this chapter, and the reason why is because I’m not caught up in the constant “what if’s” of life and just allowing the “what is” to take over.

We came about an amazing opportunity to relocate our offices to a 3 story historic house, where we could have our store on the first floor and our headquarters on the second and third floors. Back in January we moved to Newport, and we've been working on the store for the last three and a half months. Designing the concept for the store was definintely a little overwhelming, but very exciting. I've had a secret Pinterest board going for over 5 years now for the "one day it will happen" moment when I could design my own store. Now it's here!
It was important to me that the space feel airy and inviting. Curated but not stale. I'm always on the pursuit of striking the perfect balance between too much and too little, and I'm very particular about the objects I'm willing to bring into my life in terms of furniture and decor. I'm sure I'll be tweaking the store indefinitely!
In our store you will find all of the gems that are offered on our site, and then a whole lot more! Because of our unique set up with our design studio upstairs, you better believe we are going to be playing with gems and creating all sorts of one-of-a-kinds and limited edition pieces. We will also carry a selection of our butterflies in the shop which I'm so excited about.
Lastly, I have curated a selection of some of my favorite things to sit alongside our jewels. From beautiful pillows, to mineral specimens, sweet little trinket boxes, and glass dishes, we have a great selection of items to brighten your day.
The thing I'm MOST excited about is our workshop and event room in the back! It's not photographed just yet because it's still under construction, but we will soon be offering regular workshops and classes right here! I cannot wait to meet you and share the love of all things sparkly.
If you're in the area, please pop in and say hello! If you're lucky, Lou (our 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer / the company mascot) will be in and will give you a wag and a kiss.
It's been a long road to get to our sweet little store in Newport, Rhode Island-- and I couldn't be more delighted to share our new home.
]]>The Butterfly Series III is dropping next week, an entirely new batch of one-of-a-kind butterfly brooches from our Newport studio. These creatures often carry a special meaning behind them, and celebrating your wedding is a perfect time to incorporate them into your day.
The Ribbon of Your Bouquet
A beautiful place for your butterfly to land is on the ribbon of your bouquet. It will be easy to see as you make your way down the aisle and imagine how beautiful it will look in your wedding photos! Pro tip: let your florist know that you would like excess ribbon to hang down the front of the bouquet, that way you can securely fasten the butterfly to it.
Inside Your Bouquet
A little more subtle is having your butterfly find its home within the flowers of your bouquet. The beautiful sparkle will add a nice contrast to the soft and airy feel of your flowers. Again, meet with your florist so they can plan in advance and can set up a special area to wire the pin within the arrangement.

If you still haven’t found the right hair accessories for your big day then look no further. Who wouldn’t want a beautiful creature gracing them as they walk down the aisle? We love the idea of using the pin as a fascinator for a vintage style bird cage veil.
The beauty of our one-of-a-kind butterfly brooches is that when your wedding day is over, you can continue to admire it. You’ll always have a reminder of the best day of your life whether it's on your coffee table or hanging on your wall, or propped on your dressing table.

If you haven’t seen on our Instagram, then you might not know that we moved to Newport, Rhode Island! While it was bittersweet to leave our space in East Greenwich behind, we are excited to announce that we will be opening up our first Loren Hope store. The new store will be on the first floor and our offices on the second and third of an incredible historic house.
We have always felt that Newport would be the right fit for Loren Hope. Historic homes in vibrant colors and busy summer days, the charming seaside escape already feels like home. We are excited to explore all that Newport has to offer, from the Mansions, beaches, to the cliff walk, there are endless activities. We also have Castle Hill Inn on our list, cocktails on their lawn has us eager for Spring. Spring may have us ready for cocktails, but what we are really looking forward to is the store opening because we are coming in with the flowers! Renovations are underway and it’s going to be so good! Think florals, pinks, lilac, sparkles, everything that we love at Loren Hope as a retail space.
We can’t wait to welcome you all to the store! We’ll be hosting workshops where you can create your own original Loren Hope piece of jewelry, perfect for birthday parties and bachelorettes! And speaking of weddings, we will have a dedicated space for our brides. You’ll get a one-on-one appointment with out team to help you style your big day.
It has been a dream to open our first store and we want to send you a big thank you for all your support throughout the years! Without you we wouldn’t be here today.
We will be announcing our opening soon, so stay tuned and come visit us!

What’s your favorite LH piece to date?
My favorite LH piece to date is such a toughie!! I probably have to go with Lyra, mainly because she's not only magnificent but also was my wedding necklace. That hint of nostalgia really gives her the edge. Honorable mention for me would be the Elizabeth Bauble necklace, an Alex statement necklace (I'm partial to the clover), Flora statement necklace (those white enamel bees are everything)!, the Betty statement necklace (she's a work of art), Gloria (I mean... she's such an outstanding long statement piece), and of course my Imani necklace (#5, she's so beautiful and original)!
Describe your style:
I think my style is whimsical and colorfully preppy. I love to add a pop of color and an unexpected twist to an otherwise ordinary day. I used to stress about outfits - is that too showy? Will I be overdressed? I realized that if making every day fancy works for me, then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Ashley Brooke used to make a mug and makeup pouch that said "Let's Always be Fancy", and I think that's exactly the right mindset.
How did you first learn about LH?
I discovered Loren Hope through Instagram. The brand came up on my "Discover" section, and as I am basically a magpie and obsessed with shiny things, I was immediately drawn to the brand. The sparkle, the glamour, it was intoxicating. The juxtaposition of the bold art deco statement pieces with the classic, preppy New England style spoke directly to me and my own personal aesthetic. It was like discovering a representation of myself that I didn't know could exist. The best part about deep diving into the LH lifestyle was finding the other Loren Hope addicts. Not only did I meet an amazing group of women through Instagram, who are now some of my dearest friends both online and in real life (we even have a text chain), but I was once at an industry event and the registration woman asked me, "Wait, is that a Loren Hope Alex Cuff?" as I was checking in. When I confirmed, she showed me that she was ALSO wearing an LH Alex cuff, and we've been good friends ever since. Loren Hope jewels are so special that they not only create joy for the people who wear them, but they create a sense of community and happiness and a desire to share.
What was your first LH piece?
I think my very first piece was a Clara bracelet or Sarra Cuff. Once I was hooked, I bought out older pieces from what may be every single boutique in the US that carried LH pieces. I've had a LH Bucket List for years slowly finding the ones that got away (that Dalmatian Roxy is still at the top of my list, as is Studio #2, and the lavender Petra statement necklace, though I've made quite a dent over the years)! My greatest triumphs were finding Iris, Collette, Lyra, and recently a seafoam Alex Cuff that sold out before I could buy!
What is your favorite thing about LH?
My favorite thing about Loren Hope Jewelry is that they are unique pieces unlike anything else. They evoke a rich, vintage feel, wrapped up with an art deco vibe that I adore. I am always blown away by the quality of the materials, and the fact that LH will fix minor breaks (if I accidentally snag the chain and it detaches a link or a stone gets popped out), which no other company I know of will do. It speaks to the level of customer service and care that goes into each piece, and I have yet to find another company that takes such good care of their customers!
Favorite way to accessorize?
Go big. Even an ordinary tee or white collared shirt demands a statement necklace, or an arm stack, or bold statement earrings. Sometimes all three. I am also a HUGE fan of adding an embellished headband or a fascinator. Fabulous is always in style.
Favorite Flower?
I have always loved peonies, irises, and calla lillies.
Guilty pleasure?
I'm all about being fancy, but honestly, there are so many times when I just want to climb into my sweatpants and watch Grey's Anatomy and eat tacos. Dream life can both be wandering around the LACMA in a tulle ball skirt and fascinator with some fancy LH bling, but can also be an evening at home wearing sheet masks and Netflix binging on the couch.
Favorite place you've ever visited?
This is also a tough one! As a meeting and event planner, I am always on the go! I think Greece is one of my all time favorite places. Santorini was just magnificent and the history and Mediterranean views are just a dream. I also love Spain. There's just something that eases my soul when I'm there... and the food! Croquetas, Iberico ham, and Spanish wine are everything. I would remiss if I didn't also add Seoul. It has a hold on my heart that I just can't escape. Domestically? There are certain cities that just pull at my heartstrings like Charleston and Savannah. I can never get enough of the culture and beauty of New Orleans (plus my fabulous friends @medically_blonde and @socialhourbr are there)! Palm Springs and Miami have architecture like no where else, and New York City will always feel like coming home.
Signature cocktail?
I love craft vodka, specifically Aylesbury Duck and Reyka, because there are so many variations you can apply, including orange, cranberry, or grapefruit juice. For an ordinary drink when I'm at an industry function, I like to just mix with Diet Coke.
My own "signature" cocktail for a really special treat:
Mary's Unicorn Cocktail

Whose style do you admire the most?
I know it's cliche, but I have always loved Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O's ability to transform simple pieces into fashion statements with adjusting silhouettes or adding a great statement piece. Modern day, I think Amal Clooney is just transcendent. Her fashion choices are always precise and perfected, be it presenting at the UN, crushing it in court, or on the red carpet. In addition besides being the most beautiful woman in the world, she's one of the most brilliant and admirable people one could ever aspire to emulate.
If you could have dinner with any 3 people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
I would love to dine with Gloria Steinem, Reese Witherspoon, and Kate Spade because they are smart, bold women, who used their creative skills (writing, performance, design) and artistic visions to advocate for women and create strong female paths.

When it comes to celebrations and living sparkly - you can always count on Roxy Owens to bring her A-game. Roxy Owens is the Founder and Designer at Society Social, a furniture and lifestyle brand based in both NYC and North Carolina. Roxy created Society Social from her love of entertaining with six originally designed bar carts. The brand has grown to a wide range of furniture, decor, and even hostess gifts, all with a fun and colorful flare. Let's just say we have been fans of Roxy's colorful vibes since the beginning, and have several of her gorgeous pieces in our studio!
We asked Roxy to share with us her four festive must-haves for getting into the holiday spirit. Read on to learn how to win the Society Social Sedgewick Bar Cart valued at $750 (includes shipping) alongside a $750 shopping spree worth of Loren Hope baubles! Giveaway is open to residents of the continental United States (
1. Go for the Red! Whether it's a small touch like lipstick, a sparkly stud, or a dress, you simply can't go wrong with a festive shade of red during the holidays! The poppy shade and subtle sheen makes this dress perfect for a party but the simple cut has made it a staple in my closet for years. It's been fitting for so many occasions from holiday parties to tv appearances!

2. Step up the sparkle. Everyday sparkle is a must but during the holidays I like to step it up with a dramatic drop earring or over the top statement necklace. The colors are unstoppable in the Loren Hope Holiday collection and my favorites are the Charlotte Earrings and the Betty Bow Short Necklace. I also love the Charlotte Studs for a daytime look!
3. Designate a signature cocktail. Stock your bar cart with the makings of your signature cocktail and you'll always be ready to host. For me that's Hendricks Gin, Grapefruit Bitters, and Fever Tree Tonic. See below for my favorite blood orange gin and tonic with a rosemary twist!
4. Have hostess gifts on hand. I stock up on our Society Social Champagne Cork Safes year round but they are especially handy during the holidays. Instead of bringing the obligatory bottle of bubbly, top it off with this keepsake to make your gift more thoughtful-- like your host!

Where are you from?
I grew up in Lincoln, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston.
Do you have a favorite spot in New England?
I love the Buzzard’s Bay area, just below Cape Cod, where my family visits every summer. We bike to farm stands and eat amazing food – ice cream, lobster rolls, fresh fruits and veggies. It’s a short boat ride over to Martha’s Vineyard, and the sunsets are truly stunning! It’s a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of life in New York City.
Do you have a go-to uniform?
I like to switch up my daily uniform based on the shoes I plan to wear. I love to pair a flat with skinny jeans and a button down top for a more casual look, or I wear a fitted dress with a 50mm pump if I have a busy day of meetings.
How do you transition from day-to-night on the go?
To transition from day to night, sometimes I will switch from flats or a shorter pump to a higher heel, like our 100mm Perfect Pump, but more often than not I stick with my flats. Flat's with evening looks are actually some of my favorites!

Favorite way to accessorize?
Of course I love a great, statement making pair of shoes. I’m also a big fan of fun colored handbags, and bright jewelry that accentuates a simple black dress or gives an extra sparkle to jeans and a t shirt.
Favorite part of your job?
It is incredibly rewarding for me to design shoes that inspire and excite my customers, and that might improve their day-to-day lives. I’m grateful every day that I have been able to shape my brand in a way that celebrates and embraces women.
We love your fearless tagline “Walk Like a Woman” - can you tell us a little more about what “walk like a woman” means to you?
Walk like a woman is about never choosing between being feminine and powerful—because to be one is to be the other. Sarah Flint shoes are distinctly feminine in their detailing, but at the same time they are built with fit and function in mind to make women feel like the most confident and powerful versions of ourselves.

What’s been the most valuable piece of career advice you’ve received?
Don’t be afraid to knock on every door. Put yourself out there, see what you can do, and be persistent.
What do you do to get out of a creativity rut?
I take design days as often as I can because getting out of the office unlocks new ideas. I also love to travel, and find inspiration both in new places and revisiting places that I love.
Sarah Flint Perfect Pump 100 in Gunmetal Lame Fabric, Arista Bracelet 2.0 in Emerald, Arista Bracelet 2.0 in Crystal
Favorite Flower? Peony
Guilty pleasure? Chocolate
Beverage of choice? English Breakfast Tea
Most prized heirloom? A painting done by my grandmother
Hands-down favorite beauty product? Living Proof’s Perfect Hair Day
For someone who’s new to your brand, what’s the first pair of Sarah Flint shoes she should own and why?
I would recommend the Emma Pump. It is one of our most popular styles as it combines both timeless elegance and every day function. It works for the office, drinks, date night, and everything in between. The Emma is a 50mm pump, my favorite height, and has a V-shaped vamp for the perfect amount of “toe cleavage”.
Alright, saving our favorite for last - If you could have dinner with any 3 people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
I would have dinner with Sara Blakely, Michelle Obama, and Jane Austen. Each woman is a trail blazer in her own right and has paved new roads for women through their work.
